Students Celebrate Earth Day
Students from Stafford Technical Center’s Human Services and Natural Resources, Forestry & Horticulture Programs commemorated Earth Day, April 22nd, with some special activities. They helped the children from Stafford’s Pre-School plant sunflower seeds, some of which will be for sale in the Stafford Greenhouse. Also, the students from the Natural Resources, Forestry & Horticulture Program planted a honey locust tree which was grown from seed and cultivated in their tree nursery.

iPod WINNER
Congratulations to Sara Miller from
Fair Haven Union High School!
She is the winner of the 80GB Apple iPod Classic. Sara received her iPod during the Open House at Stafford Technical Center on March 6th.
Sara was one of hundreds of Rutland County students who participated in a 10th grade tour of Stafford Technical Center during the dates of February 8th, 11th, 12th, and 14th. The name of each student that took the tour was entered into the drawing for the iPod.
